Rochdale Therapy Centre
Rochdale Therapy Centre combines modern, attractive rooms with access to a range of associated support and back-office services for an expanding team of fully qualified therapists.
We aim to enable you to work successfully with your clients in a safe and caring environment. Our vision is for continuous improvement and investment in the Centre; and we remain committed to developing our current network of independent practitioners, in order to offer a wider mix of therapeutic provision to serve people living in the local area. Our sister site, the Shaw Therapy Centre, has been up and running successfully since 2020, where we are delighted to offer counselling, physiotherapy, massage, beauty and other related, well-being services and interventions from there.
Shaw Therapy Centre
At Shaw Therapy Centre we pride ourselves on the provision of high-quality rooms and support services all focused on enabling a growing team of qualified therapists to work with and support their clients.
Although individually provisioned there is a commonality about the rooms intended to maximise a sense of continuity wherever you are in the building. To complement the therapeutic services at the centre, Room 1 is equipped with an interactive screen and whiteboard to facilitate both group and training sessions. The centre also has a specially provisioned room to support work with children. Our ongoing vision is the centre’s continuous development, remaining focused on supporting an ever-greater range of therapeutic provisions.
Peer Support Group
At No.84, we recognize the invaluable role of peer support in the professional development of therapists. That’s why we proudly offer Peer-Support Groups tailored specifically to counsellors and trainee counsellors, including those undertaking placements. These groups serve as a vital forum where therapists can convene, exchange perspectives, and glean insights from one another.
Within the supportive atmosphere of our Peer-Support Groups, participants have the opportunity to engage in candid discussions about client issues, drawing from their collective experiences and expertise. Whether it’s navigating challenging cases, exploring innovative therapeutic approaches, or simply finding solidarity in shared experiences, these sessions foster a sense of camaraderie and mutual learning.
